Chalets

Our stone-built Chalets are thoughtfully designed to keep you cool and comfortable. Each of the three chalet buildings houses two completely separate rooms: a double room with an en-suite bathroom downstairs and a twin or triple room with its own bathroom just downstairs from the bedroom.

For families or groups, the two rooms can be connected through a shared kitchenette, offering the perfect blend of privacy and togetherness. Both rooms feature their own gauzed-in verandah, ideal for relaxing and soaking in the natural surroundings.

En-Suite Safari Tents

Experience the magic of South Luangwa with our six luxurious en-suite Safari Tents, positioned along the riverbanks for breathtaking views. These spacious tents provide all the comforts of home, including full-sized beds, bedside tables with lamps, and hanging racks for your clothes.

Step into the shaded, open-air bathroom, complete with a hot shower, flush toilet, and basin for an authentic yet indulgent safari experience. Each tent is equipped with mosquito nets, electric fans, and fully gauzed windows to ensure your comfort.

For families, our dedicated family tent features a double bed, two single beds, and a large en-suite bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to four guests.

Flatdogs Camp | South Luangwa

South Luangwa is famous for its Wild Dog and Leopard sightings. The Walking Safari was invented here by Norman Carr.
Choose between Luxury Safari Tent and Chalet for your stay. Two safari activities are included per day. Head out in the morning on a game drive and add some walking to experience the bush with all your senses. In the late afternoon you head out again on the evening safari to see what the nocturnal species are up too.
