The Luangwa Bush Break is a safari in one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the World. The South Luangwa NP is featured in numerous documentaries. This is for a good reason: South Luangwa got a high concentration of predators, like Lions, Leopards and Wild Dogs thanks to the many prey animals. Impalas and Puku are present in large numbers. Several huge Buffalo herds are moving up and down in the national park too. Wild Dogs have one of the last strongholds in the Luangwa Valley. Their numbers are increasing.
The Luangwa Bush Break is available all year round. You have a choice of camping or lodging. Night drives and walking safaris can be arrange with the camp at an extra cost.
Itineraries
Day 1
Lusaka to South Luangwa
We meet at 07:00hrs at your accommodation, have the briefing and start our safari to Zambia's famous South Luangwa NP. If needed we can do some final shopping before we hit the road. It's tar road up to Mfuwe. On our way we can stop at Luangwa Bridge market and Tribal Textile.
Accommodation in permanent a/c Riverfront Tents or Chalets.

Day 2-3
South Luangwa
After an early breakfast we start our morning game drive at 06:00hrs and explore the area. We return for lunch to camp, have siesta and head out for the afternoon/night game drive at around 16.00hrs. South Luangwa is well known for its lion and leopard population. Optional walking safari and night game drive can be arranged with the Camp at an extra cost.
Optional evening game drive can be booked with the lodge and costs USD45 per person.

Day 4
South Luangwa to Lusaka
After an early breakfast we will pack up and drive back to Lusaka. The Luangwa Bush Break ends in Lusaka. Please talk to us about further travel arrangements.
