Itineraries

Day 1

🚙 Start Your Adventure to Kafue National Park 🌿🐾

We’ll kick off the day by meeting at your accommodation at 07:00 hrs for a safari briefing before setting out on our journey to Kafue National Park. If needed, we’ll make a quick stop for any last-minute shopping 🛍️ before hitting the road.

The route takes us along a smooth tarred road to Kalomo, transitioning to gravel roads as we approach the Ndumdunwenze Gate 🚗🌄. Upon arrival, we’ll register with the park authorities and enjoy a game drive en route to the camp, where you can start soaking in the wilderness vibes 🦁🐘.

As a highlight of the day, unwind with a sunset boat cruise on Lake Itezhi-Tezhi, a serene experience offering stunning views and potential wildlife sightings 🌅🚤.

Accommodation is in chalets or safari tents at Musungwa Safari Lodge, ensuring a cozy end to your adventure-filled day (LD).

Day 2-3

🌄 Morning to Evening Safari Adventure in Southern Kafue 🦁🐾

Kick off your day with an early breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive at 06:00 hrs. Explore the rich wildlife of southern Kafue National Park, home to iconic species like sable, roan, lions, cheetahs, and leopards 🐆🦓.

You’ll return to camp for a delicious lunch and a relaxing siesta, or opt for an extended full-day game drive with a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness 🍴🌿. In the afternoon, around 15:30 hrs, embark on another game drive to discover more of the region's treasures.

As part of this experience, enjoy a visit to the elephant orphanage, where you can witness conservation efforts and interact with rescued elephants 🐘❤️.

Day 4

🌄 Journey Back to Livingstone 🛻
