Lower Zambezi NP

Get ready for an exhilarating day as you embark on your canoe excursion after a restful night's sleep! The morning kicks off with a delightful breakfast at 07:30 am, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. Soon after, you'll meet your friendly canoeing guide, who will provide an engaging overview of the day's canoeing adventures. Topics covered include encounters with wildlife, safety precautions both on the river and at the campsites, and expert canoeing techniques.
The excitement begins as you depart from the jetty to reach the canoe start point. Along the way, there's a delightful tea time stop arranged by the trusty back-up boat, ensuring your journey is not only thrilling but also wonderfully comfortable. A well-prepared lunch follows, courtesy of the back-up boat, providing you with the energy needed for the continued downstream adventure.
As you navigate the river post-lunch, the back-up boat takes the lead to set up the campsite, ensuring everything is ready for your arrival. The late afternoon brings you to the charming campsite at Buffalo Beans Island, offering a picturesque setting to unwind.
And fear not, your meal plan includes full board, ensuring you're well-fed and ready for each leg of this 20km journey. Get ready to paddle, explore, and make lasting memories!
Day 3
Lower Zambezi to Lusaka

Following a delightful breakfast, hop aboard a motorboat for a cheerful transfer back to Kiambi Lodge. There, a scrumptious lunch awaits, setting the stage for the joyful drive back to Lusaka.
